it's been 4 months since my last post.

failed my osce. scar has healed quite a bit. but it's a permanent scar.

be honest, i'm jealous that people having fun out there, laughing playing and i'm palpating stink venous foot. reading talley again and again. i'm frustrating, fighting inside me, but what can i do? nothing. the only thing that can cheer me now is counting down on days before i go have a break.

Am i actually walking on a path that suit me?

I'm sooooo terrible, why?

I used up my energy to control my thinking over this friendship thing and now i got another problem arises because of my carelessness. Please don't fail me. I shouldn't use short form anymore, imagine that i used it in my report and submitted? so silly and funny when i found out.

Will i survive through this year? I have already got many wounds created since i came here, please dun cut indirectly me anymore, i can't take it...

Learning process is very tough. Learn to be alone, to be independent, to apply theory (forogotten during 8 weeks of holiday) in clinical settings, to speak, to act confidently, to overcome my exam fear, presentation fears, to be able to handle truth humanity, to cook, to survive...

I'm exhausted... Can i see a light to drive me to the right direction?

8 weeks of gen med comes to the end now.

very hectic life... stressful...

i was posted in respiratory unit for 8 weeks. i sticked to my team like glue.

my residence for the 8weeks: Dr sherman picardo. he is very nice, helped me check through my case reports, listened to my case presentation, taught me how to do ABG... never angry ... always say "that's good" haha ...

first 3 weeks i had this great 6th year with me. if wasn't him, i'll be sooo blur in the first few days.. really wanna thanks him, he is yang. very clever and nice guy... gave me a lot of private tute, like to teach...

then next 4 weeks was Joseph, another 6th year, he... er... doesn't like to talk ... doesn't really like to smile also... unlike yang... hmm... but he is very nice as well..

my first 3 weeks of reg was dr.sarah young. she talks like bullet train, mouth seldom move aahaha... very hard to get wat she said sometime, always smile! like to teach when she had time... she brought me to other wards to listen to murmur, clerk patient and then present to her...

then last 3 weeks i had dr. babu phillip as my reg. he is another awesome reg. he knows a lot but he speaks very softly that i couldn't hear wat he said and i dunno what he wants.. hahaa... and he likes to EAT! hahaha... he brought us, the whole team to northbridge for dinner...

thanks to the whole team, i like my respi life. although very busy, a lot to read, but it's quite good...

the first thing i learnt in my gen med was how to put on N95 face mask! hahaha ... taught by dr.sarah young. i think she was shocked, when i asked her: "how do u put this on?" hahahaaa....

besides that, i watched 3 bronchoscopies, one of that was done by my residence.

one intercostal tube drainage by my residence and babu.

My new consultant: Dr. W said he hates this product soooooooooooooooooooooooo deeply!! haha... he said it is useless.... doesn't deliver medicine to the lung... Let me introduce u to this Diskus seretide:

As you can see here, it is inserted through peripheral vein in the forearm and extending up to the SVC.

It is not staying in there more than 30 days.

This is Hickman Line- rather short line inserted through jugular vein.

Just not happy. Cannot cheer up excitedly.

Psychiatry, is known to be the easiest posting but i failed. I'm such a failure, don't u think?

I always thought i had enough of cry on that day i got the result but whenever i telling people about it, it's just hard to control.

I feel so terrible... don't want to let my family know, i hav to hide my feelings from them.

I'm so low mood that even though i need to carry 20 over kg bags up to 5th floors and i wasn't angry i just feel sadder and when i lost power supply out of no reason, the mood just stay there without going to scold people.... i'm so low...

i keep asking myself will i be able to survive through uwa 3 years?????? It's still a question.

I hate Monday! Monday is dark, depressing, busy, all the bad things!

I dunno if it's Normal or my standard is worrisomely low.

In PBL, Varun n I were in charged of Prognosis n Mx for schizo. I did most of the homework for it, u can put it 98%. When it came to discussing with group members, i couldn't even formed a proper sentence ... speaking like word salad... it's so distressing and i feel so shitty low now. I couldn't concentrate on anything after the PBL. I'd tried but my mind just shifted away.

Another thing, i couldn't catch what patients say! this is a big problem. Either their words glued together or too softly or their native new terminology. I really feel like banging my head against wall now. It's bad, i'm at risk of self harming! really bad! ...

this week i was under dr. aaron tan, was a previous imu student also. He is very nice, taught me alot of things. however, i was very upset about my own performance. Cause i found out that i can't even speak properly! wat the Hell! It just so ridiculous! after so many years of educations and i speak broken english! wat the Hell! I dun like to be like this! i need to change! how long will it takes? sigh...

6weeks later, i have an exam: interview a patient for one hour (sound long right, it is not!), 10-15mins prepare, 15mins case presentation, and 20mins of discussion with consultant.

defribillator and stem cells aren't that helpful! He will never called my name as he used to 3years ago.

He and his wife helped my parents take care of us when we were very young. Then, he sent 3 of us to school for, i dunno... maybe 15-17years, for 24hours a day. He did have a very bad temper but he protected us like his grandchildren. I remembered he used to make us durian jam, durian ice cream when i was in primary school.

He had stroke 1 n half years ago. And he passed away this afternoon.

Stupid teardrops when i was on my research method class.

I had an awful day today. Need a tap on my shoulder now (quotes from dr. lim back in imu).

I slept almost 9hours from 10pm on sunday to 7am. Got up with a super messy hair. The hair just couldn't go back to normal shape after many times of pouring water to it. WTV, just leave it like that ... pretty messy...

Mantoux Test. We were told to hav our mantoux test done. So, the stuff in pathwest (J block) asked us to go to Sir Charles Gaidner Hospital (R block) to get it done there. We took about 10-15mins in searching for the "HIDDEN" R block. When we reached there, the nurses there told us "it's a quantiferon TB test, u shud hav done it back in pathwest and not here!" So we had to walk all the way back to pathwest. We waited for 30mins in pathwest reception counter before we could get our venepuncture done.

I was allocated to Fremantle hospital for my nursing attachment as stated in our timetable. Me n jo reached there around 12pm. The girl in the reception counter gave me a super shocking news! Nearly had heart attaack! Ur Amity ward is in Kaleeya hospital. My first rxn was "Huh? apa tu? Ca-La-Ya???". Then i asked her, Can i walk there?... she said: Although is under fremantle hospital but it's a distance away from here!. Me n jo went on to ask the information counter in hospital about how to get there. He then showed us a map. and it was like "WOWWWWW~~~ soooooo FAR away!!" Imagine, fremantle hospital is in South Fremantle, then City in the center and Kaleeya hospital is in East fremantle. Not knowing what to do, I just walked around hoping to get on to a cab and send me there. BUT! There wasn't a cab on my way to Perth train station! sooo ulu... Fortunately, i was able to reach Amity ward before 1pm!!! Thanks god!!

5pm dismissed. I got a bit lost again! Coz i dunno how to go back to city!! Clinical manager in the amity ward asked me to take the bus outside the hospital... i waited for a long time, no buses passed by... then i walked to the Canning hw. On my way to canning hw, i saw my bus passed by me... zzz... Waited in the canning hw, the main big road, hoping to get a bus or cab. Not even a cab passed by when i stood at the bus stop for 20mins! imagine how ulu is that place! ... zzz... luckily a bus passed by and i hopped on --> got me to train st.

My terrible English!!! It's a serious problem here in australia if i really wanted to survive! I hav to mug up!!

Ok, Last saturday we had this dinner with seniors and here is the picture:

Monday, i had a revision session for catheterization. Fun and bit stress, coz the nurse will assess each and everyone of us when we perform. So, need to be very calm and still, if freaked out, then everything goes wrongly...

Tues, Australia day!!! woke up early in the morning... Went to dr. kong's house. After arrival of Dr. sue and her nephew, Desmond, 5 of us went to mandurah crabbing. As i forgot to bring covered shoes, I gotta walked with slipper inside the river, not knowing when the crab will hide underneath and pinch ur toes, it's damn scary experience. The deeper i walked, the harder i need to drag my feet, until a time that my slipper just broke into 2! hahaa... then i gotta walked bare-footed! Scarier!! haha ... As i walked and walked, suddenly i felt something hit my crabbing net, (I used the crabbing net as my "walking stick" coz It's unstable to walk when the wave and winds hit u) rose up my net, "oh my god, i caught a crab!" Another random lucky experience i got! I had a mixture feelings of frightened and excitement. quickly i ran back to the shore, while waiting for the others to come back, i just played with my little baby crab... U know what i did? haha ... i actually sunbathe it, made it lying prone cause it grabbed my net very tightly... 5 of us only got one legal sized of blue swimmer crab that we could bring home. So, we searched for shop and bought us another 4 blue swimmer crabs and some squids.

At around 7.30pm, me n my uncle walked to swan river. Everyone was gathered along the swan river to watch the annual fireworks in perth. (the only day where u could see fireworks and celebration, they dun even celebrate for new year! pathetic.. haha) Firework was 30mins and i caught many pictures but i dun like most of them... hmm... i wan my dslr!! SOB SOB...

Wed, i had injection, iv cannulation... little feverish...

Thurs, i had phlebotomy! FUN!!! Ange is so pro... my arm is perfectly fine under her care! but she was unfortunate to hav me as her "phlebotomist" that day! haha ..coz it bled! haha ... my needle came out before i put the cotton.. haha ...bled a bit ... haha...

Fri, i had resuscitation and patient manual handling...

Saturday (TODAY!!)... doing nothing... haha ... waiting for tonight PARTY!!! YEAH!!! How can monkey missed out PARTY?? haha ... i LOVE party!!!

It was 45mins exercise and i was dead right after that ... hahaa...

Started with Jacob's ladder, this stupid long ladder from mount bay rd up to entrance of king's park. I wanted to count how many steps actually, but i lost count after a while, my brain was really exhausted when i was climbing up...

Jacob's ladder was tiring so i decided to change my route. I jogged from the ladder there to the memorial statue, back n forth twice and Jacob's ladder 4 times. That's the upper limit for my first trial.

Is finally feeling TIRED after 8months of holiday.

FYI, my class has 189 students! COOL isn't it , i din expect UWA to hav so many students, i thought only IMU will accept such a tremendous amount of students... hahha

You know what, I suddenly have a feeling of being blessed! I dunno, maybe i felt content with what i have compared to the other four from imu. (they may feel the same as i do, but i'm happy with what i am)

I had a 2 weeks holiday at here during my 8 moths of holiday. I'd travel to many places, met friends, and had brought over some of my stuffs.

Accommodation- I get to stay in my uncle's home, which is located so close to the city where transportation is easy. I only took 15mins from city to uwa. And 5mins free bus from home to city...(compared to one of the gal whom need to take an hour of public transport to reach UWA... feel worried for her.) In spite of this, i'll move out eventually, but my parents will always ensure that my accommodation is safe, close to city and transportation, close to convenience shop and so on...

Foods- My uncle is a good cooker, he taught me how to cook.

I'm actually currently staying in his study room, no bed here, i'm sleeping on an air bed, where you need to pump air into the bed. I'm okay with that, just that his room doesn't have fan, It's too hot here without a fan. The wind that blow from outside is HOT!.

I have my own printer, scanner, internet- er.. using uncle's broadband...

It was just a short meeting with the international centre advisor, sally tan and sue from faculty of medicine. Sally gave us a walking tour around the main campus of UWA. Pretty hot but it's slightly better than sunday. Continued with enrolment to our course and process our ID card and smart rider card.

So, that's it for the short orientation we had today. about 4hours.

another important thing, 5 of us has finally met up. 2 from JPA, 1 Singaporean. Well, i guess i'm the shortest among them...

6-7个月, 好长的假期哦... 玩完了... 是时候回到轨道上, 繼續往前跑.

收拾的差不多了, 东西多不多, 少不少... 唯一我能说的是书本很重. 好像搬运几棵MSIA 树去PERTH.

这几天为了不让自己多想, 我拼命找东西看,读,做, 想些开心的事, 例如: 我希望接下来的两星期假期我能抽出一星期去ALICE SPRING 玩. 假期真的有够少...

I have a best friend.
Her name is BXX.
I knew B since i was standard 5. So, it's about 12 years now.
She is like a Big sister to me. B seldom say No to my request. She taught me how to park parallel parking. She came all the way back from kl to celebrate my 21.
B has a brilliant memories. She could remember things i told her when i was form 2 or 3.

Out of sudden, she does not speak to me. Shortly after my 21, no msn, with 2 forwarding sms. I'm Sad. Hopefully time can heal her worries or ?? ... i dunno... I just hope that i still can ask her out for a tea when i come back end of this year.

To my other best friends, please do not treat me so cold suddenly, i'll feel terribly sad.

I think i'm scared to return to medical world now.

I dun like my current world either. No income, No target, live like a useless leech to my parents. I have had a long holiday and it's time to move on.

Ok, I've plans (happy-dreaming plans) for next year.
-dunno how it would turns up to, but i do plan something.
-I want to save a lot of money; in the meantime, awaiting for the arrival of new canon >15.1mp, medium range DSLR or Nikon. Then, get 2 lenses- one for up to 270mm another for macro photo shooting.
-climb most of the mountains or hills in WA.
- not many actually... sad... think more... haha..

what does it mean to be 21st? Some people seems to take it very seriously but some do not. hmm ... actually myself do really envy those parents that look at it seriously... but sadly not mine.

I do not blame them, but be frankly slight disappointed in my blood is inevitable. As it's 21st. "compare" is a bad word! i hate people "compare" and so does myself. But i can't help my mind to "compare". it's really bad! but what to do, i'm not "san hou" in gong xin ji or guan jin pu sa...
Compare to my siblings and frens in fb... well, they do make me emo a while... but well, i'm doing everything i can to fight back the evil forces and not to compare.

Actually, i'm very lucky, to compare again with others... hahaa... compare is sooooo terribly bad thing. hahaha...i got 7 super cool frens from srban "chi chi chi, phew phew phew" down to celebrate in advance with me. I got super cool monkeys on that day!!!

Then, i got another super duper cool best fren in melaka whom i supposed she ran down from kl, ran away from work just to celebrate with me yesterday. i'm not sure wat she doin here in weekdays! She kept those secret from me, i dun think i suppose to find out, there must be reason behind for this old lady to keep it out from me. Although, we din do anything that sound super awesome or crazy yesterday. but be out there with my best fren, is actually a very HAPPY THING itself. so, it doesn't matter whether what we doing.

After sending that lao master back home, i ran to my secondary sch, waited for sunset to come. Bad weather, it rains right after sunset. Then, during the sunset, they cancelled dinner. Maybe they really thought that their children all have a lots of friends? Cause it's really hard for me to call my fren out for dinner last min. But LUCKILY again, i went to grab woon kheng from her mother, haha... pity mother.. sorry auntie.. she accompanied me for 1 hr as my gastric pain just shoot to my stomach in time. hahaa...

Looked out of window, one small van was lying on the floor sideway, one hyundai with damaged bumper and toyota stopped in the middle of the road...

terrible accident has just happened outside my hse AGAIN...

Be careful when u r driving, it's terrible and hurtful to see accident happens

不是很顺利但还是完成所有计划行程.
不顺利 1: 很吵! 吵到我很烦. 谁吵? 他们! 为什么一直抱怨, 投訴那些与你无关的事? 时不时说说还好, 但他们一直说! 很烦! "这种地方不是人住" ...

不顺利 2: 选择. 当我让你们选择, 你们乱讲, 有答=没答, 我再问多一次就被骂. 当我不给你们选择, 你们就要选/加料, 然后我又被骂. 什么鬼! 我来陪伴你们旅行不是你们的出气桶!

第一天有点不幸, 因为MICH迷路, 然后有点误会, 然后轮胎PUNCIT!哈哈哈! 还好都没事!

最近手头有点紧, 因为我在为自己存钱买新的IPOD NANO给自己当21岁礼物. 在还没从IMU毕业时, 这份礼物是NIKON D5000. 但是我的第二选择被抄袭猫买了 (我介绍他买的). 如果我再买的话, 我应该是被骂的那个. 过后, 去叔叔哪, 用了他的CANON 50D 与 80-270mm lens, 效果还不错, 所以我就放弃D5000 类似的相机.

不久后, 妈妈突然要赞助我DSLR. 很高兴,可是我拒绝了. 50D与 80-270mm lens类似的相机不只RM5000. 还是自己赚钱后在买吧.

为了存钱, 已经尽量少去KOPITIAM 喝茶了, 我的胃, 委屈您了.

刚才去UJONG PASIR巴刹 MALAM 帮爸爸买豆腐花时, 被那该死的耗煎吸引住了. (今天没去GYM, 没GYM, 就吃咯! 哈) RM4 的耗煎很香. 从点耗煎到打开耗煎我都很兴奋, 太久没吃的关系吧. 吃到一半后, 我就闷了. 不知道是一个人吃的关系还是那档耗煎的关系, 没味道了.

美味的食物在没有人枪吃或太多之下, 也会便的不好吃.

今晚和哥哥与大嫂去Simply Fish@Melaka Raya 吃.
我们点了个Fisherman on the boat(RM44.90) 和 creamy Mussels(RM14.90).
贵?! 不不不! 是很贵!
Creamy Mussels很棒! 他的sauce一级棒!
至于Fisherman on the boat 就有点失望. 开始的太好,让我对他们有期望, 结果失望了. 这道菜有deep fried fillet, 6 prawns, squids, 2 mussels, butter rice and chips. 虾... 不够好... 鱼... 还是不吸引我... 饭... 还好...

热热的天气加上热热的我很容易就爆炸.

惹人的佣人一大清早喊的像鬼叫似地把我从美梦吵醒. 原来她把自己锁在外.
当时我的火就大了, 因为距离我的闹钟还有半小时.

5分钟后, 有人拼命的拨我家的电话, 以前如果我们在睡觉时佣人都会接. 但是这位惹人, 双面人, 的佣人又不理. 十分钟后, 又来! 气到爆了, 我去接. 但是我没做那人交代的事, 因为我不想骂人.

接下来, 哥哥SMS 啦, 然后姑姑又打来吵! 烦死了! 直接关机!

星期六的天气很好但是很可怜的一个人吃晚餐. 没胃口,吃剩食物.

星期日,更闲.去麻坡看一整天的Youtube,看到头痛. 晚饭就没胃口吃了.

晚饭后,求妈让我出去,找了个老友出来喝水.
很想把这位朋友打到扁扁,明明是我硬拉她出来陪我,但她终是抢还钱. 她有做工我也有啊! 不行,下次我走到柜台还比较好.

This time we went to 炫音乐餐厅. It's located near to Wings' cafe and Asian Harvana. It has a very good environment but i would suggest that it adds more dim lights or candles on the tables outside, cause it's too dark. And, hire someone who are able to speak, their workers don't seem like understood what we were talking.

Looks very nice in pic? LOLz... don't be fooled by it. In real, it is so dark that you can't even see your fingers.

But seriously, i like the environment, so, i do hope they can add or repair their lightning around.

写这篇部落格时人正在Adelaide机场等飞机.

第三个旅行也在此告一段落了.

好吧,现在就说说这次流浪之旅.

跟上次一样,11天.

抵达后都在city, glenelg, harbour town 随便逛逛. 这些地方的照片已经多到不行了所以不想也不愿意再拍.

隔天晚上, 便坐了巴士去Melbourne. 从以前我就很讨厌达巴士去Melbourne因为旅途很慢,很久,接近11小时,而且很难入眠.但是这次的trip还满顺利的,能入眠而且也不晕. 这也要谢谢一个朋友教育我OPTIMISTIC 的重要. 保持乐观,别担心这担心那的,是很重要的.

本人并不喜欢住在Melbourne因为它的交通太复杂了. Train, tram, bicycle, motorcycle, car, 都用着一样的路. 而且living expenses太高了.

抵达后的第二天早上,我们请了人带我们去Great Ocean Road,这也是来Melbourne的原因. 在哪有很出名的twelve apostles. 因为风浪的关系,今天又倒了一个. 现在应该只有6个吧. 我们没在Melbourne待太久, 隔天就达老虎机返回Adelaide.

爸妈回后, 我,姐, 和她朋友就去Yorke Peninsula 玩.旅途没有去Mullawa来的遥远但是天气的关系,我们并没有很享受. 一直下雨, 很冷. 返回Adelaide后的隔天,我们就去Hahndoft 吃荷兰香肠,Barossa Valley参观4间红酒厂,我在哪买了4瓶红酒.

就这样一来简简单单的Adelaide之旅完毕.

11天的Perth旅行结束. 前5天与家人逛,后6天自己与朋友逛.

这次的旅行算是满不错.北上南下,城市也逛完了.照片还算满意.

首先我们去南部的Busselton and Margaret River. 本来还会去Nannup 欣赏野花的,但是爸爸不要去那么远,所以我们便回城市看夜景. 在Margaret River, 我们参观了很多间酒厂,Nut n cereal factory, Extra Virgin Olive Oil factory, chocolate factory, cheese factory, venison shop, beer factory, and finally to canal rock beach. 一路上的天气都不好,时不时就下雨. 而Busselton, 我们去了它最出名的Busselton 码头.

家人走后,天气便好了, 约了几位朋友出来陪我. 第一天,我去动物园. 不错一下勒, 没什么味道,而且没料到会有那么多人勒...不过勒,动物都很懒惰,每次都给我们看屁股.

第二天,约了我中学朋友去公园拍照.可怜的朋友们, 因为我不想换钱搭巴士, 所以她们得陪我爬山. 为了答谢她们陪我爬山, 我就陪她们逛街买礼物送男朋友.背包里背着800克的相机陪她们走了3小时, 我的背都快断了.

第三天,shopping day. 买了不少东西,花了不少钱. 哈哈哈...

第四天, 我一个人去郊外帮叔叔做photobook给大姑. 然后去fremantle 吃fish n chip.

接下来的两天我跟叔叔和他的两位朋友去北部Mullewa看野花.

整千张的照片, 终于看完了,选了百六张做photobook.

Working for my parents is actually something very relaxing yet stressful. No salary of course, as i just grabbed or asked for it.
Don't usually have time for afternoon nap, aunties aunties from all over melaka city will call anytime they want.
So 3 days ago, i decided to take my few hours free time walk around melaka from the point of a tourist. Testing with canon 500D at the same time.

My uncle introduced a book written by Richard Shears to me recently. This book is known as the "Wildlife warrior: Steve Irwin". On my own, i wouldn't have buy it or even cared to look at it cause i do not know him much. Steve Irwin, well-known for his crocodile-hunter action. In 6 sept, 2006, he was killed by a stingray that pierced through his heart and died instantly. That's all i knew from him before i got this book.

After started reading his book, i had a feeling to visit our croc farm AGAIN. (after the first time which requested by our siling).
So, this morning, after i finished my work, i went there again. Alone this time. Here are some photos i would like to share.

this is a female croc that has just given birth. According to local fren, he said that normally these female croc after giving birth will become very aggressive and this is how it reacted after the local fren tapped on the wall. See the blood on its lower jaw?

Yes! I have finally finished all these four books by Stephenie Meyer. I MUST say that it is a fascinating story. Storyline goes through unexpectedly smooth and easy understanding.

Among the 4 books, i like breaking dawn most. From marriage to conceive then suffered during gestation period. After that, the born of a new interesting child-- Renesmee. With her extraordinary background, Volturi suspected she might be immortal child. Then come with the preparation for fight with Volturi.

Coming next is another stephenie meyer's book-- the Host. Hope it is as interesting as the twilight saga.

Wua ha ha! first and most probably last jigsaw puzzle is done! Finally... (counting on how many hours...) almost 24 hours i spent on this 1000 pieces puzzle.

Cool experience.

The puzzle looks defected so i did not take any closed-up photos. The reason is because i'm not sure whether i should paste it piece by piece or a bunch at a time. Then, i decided to stick a bunch at a time, using transparent tape to hold the puzzle together and glued them on a piece of newspaper before i paste it on the board.
Now, what should i do to you? Where can i put this big puzzle? haha... no idea... cham...

说到天气嘛，还是一样。每天都很hazy和晒，搞到我最后一天都没有心情去照相。“酱油”说:beijing 的天气经过奥运后改善很多,吐痰的人也少很多,脚车也少了. 但是经过我4天的旅游后, 天气比起2 年前真的有那么一小点的改善,但还是有改良的空间.
这是forbidden city. 有多hazy呢?

吐痰的人虽然少了, 还是给我看到3-5个, 很反感. 脚车少了车子多了, 驾车技术更是 "出乎意料"的 "安全".

医生是什么? 救人还是挣钱? 我不明白读了那么多,为什么到头来会这样?

I met one rubbish family. I'm not good in descriptive essay, hence i can't find a good and sharp word to describe this family. But if you happened to meet them, you will definitely understand my feelings now.

Then, I watched two crazy and disgusting movies which i got from my housemate. Can't believe she actually watched them with her bf. "Pathology" and "forgetting Sarah Marshall". If you know who i am, do not watch it. It's disgusting, i wonder how people write them. Yikes...

2.5 years of Med course in IMU has ended at 29th May 2009.
It started at end of February 2007. 3 day after i rushed back from Adelaide.

Things going very harsh and tired at first. I did not stick to anyone exactly the same as how i lived in Sunway. After classes, went back home and study... Pek chek... nap... eat little... study till late... sleep... the same went on until 3weeks before ICA for sem 1. The first time i took lrt and went to LowYat with my housemate, Dino Zai. I scored well in sem 1.

Sem 2 we moved from block B1 to block B tower. 19th floor and 6. I took master bedroom. Sem 2 was a big mess as i think i was too tension with those patho, pharmco, bac, virus... many more. Sem 2 was a intensive semester. Everything is so alien and you are given little time to absorb them. Some actually gave up and withdraw from the course in this sem. In the end, i scored badly and i emo.

After i passed my EOS 2, entering sem 3, i allowed myself to relax a little because my sis said that it's not worth doing that in uni life. Uni life shouldn't be like that. So, I went to play basketball, badminton with my friends. Went out celebrate people birthdays. However, i still restricted myself from too many outings. I passed EOS 3.

Sem 4. Seniors said sem 4 is a honey-moon semester as there is no End of Semester exam. So, I was very relax. I joined IMU cup for basketball, badminton and volleyball. Practices everyday earlier in the morning. Didn't study much as i used to be. Exhausted but really fun and had a memorable life. I got to know many friends that i wasn't close with. They are fun n hardworking people! I enjoyed sem 4 a lots! Though i exercise A LOTS but my weight stayed intact. *did not win any medals though! hehe... a bit upset but i gained more than i lost*. After IMU cup, I mugged up all my notes and i passed ICA.

There was only a short term of holiday to Sem 5. Sem 5 was a horrible semester. In sem 5, we have 2 big systems to cover- MSK n CNS. and 1 bored course- Com Med. Apart from the heavy work load, we still need to cover everything from the previous semesters. CVS, respi, haemato, git, renal, repro, endo, cns and msk, total of 9 systems with mountains like notes. Because of that, i had no exercise, lotsa maggies n fast foods, sleep-study, glued my butt in my red chair/ library chairs. Very stressful. Whatever, I survived through it.
Exam was 4 days. After first day, strength dropped until baseline. Because of MEQ!
2nd day was OSPE. Someone told the afternoon group that it was sup sup sui easy easy easy one. Then i went in happily and started with anatomy question. After 4 questions, i lost my interests already. Because I couldn't recall! There is hell lots of things and i couldn't recall. Frustrated. Some more, don't know who that 2 lecturers were. Both of them chatting in our exam hall and everyone could hear it. Damn it!
3rd day OSCE, i did very badly. Didn't know how to read ecg, simply crap. While i was doing fundoscope, someone shaked her head, made me more sad.
4th day OSCE, no more energy to fight. Just went in and finished whatever there.
Right after my exam, i was "kidnapped" by liyen to mid valley because abel n agnes asked them to bring me to mid valley and then double a will go with me to bangsar meet marissa. Until i reached The garden, Marissa only told me that double A not goin to bangsar anymore and i decided just to stick to si ling's gang to watch my 3rd time of X-men and supper with chui munn.

Learnt many things from books and also life. Grow up a bit. Hair longer a bit. Height Static.
Met a lotsa friends. All are very sweet and funny people! *Bad tragedies were inevitable, but not wishing to mention anymore*

Crazy shopping day

With my ex-housemate, michelle we had this crazy shopping war at bangsar. Then later on, agnes asked us to go dingy's birthday but too far and traffic will be horrible that time, so, we decided to go mid valley watch movie. Upon reached there, agnes and abel called and forced us to go AGAIN. Horrible... After finished my shopping, we took another taxi to one U. As we were told previously is One u. Mana tau, while we were looking for red box inside one u, they told us is THE CURVE! horrible... If michelle wasn't there, i guess i'll take another taxi and go back home. So terrible... another taxi and we went to the curve. Haiz...

I should be sleeping by now. But something strike my attention and i started to read about MS.

MS is a disease that i hate to read because there is no definite cause to it. It could be due to autoimmune or genetic or environment or infection or anything. Damage is done to our white matter in CNS. inflammation also play a cause here, entering through BBB they could attack 'foreign cells' perceived by them. Symptoms varies from sensory deficit, motor deficit to optic neuritis in which you will lost your vision. (vision loss is permanent!) To be dated, there is no cure. Treatment is given to delay attack, reduce number of attacks and symptomatic relief.
Theory (phase 1) can only teach you so much. What you feel after reading this paragraph?
My answer is: Nothing, no feeling. In phase 1, this piece of info will only benefit with it comes to exam, not for real life. (quotes from IMU's lectures.) In Phase 2, you will need to apply them onto real patients. This is when the sad and heart-breaking parts come around medical students.

"Thing" that strike my attention did show little about how it is living with MS. I must say that, theory is nothing but info, you really have to see it to get everything into your brain. You will never forget it. MS in real, is a devastating disease, sufferers in their early stage are of no different from normal people. Different people go through the disease differently. No matter how much rest you get, you still feel tired. 1 mile walk, you feel like you going to falls. Little feather could makes you feel like a thousand pound. Numbness. Dizziness.

Corticosteroid is given to prevent further attack and in severe exacerbation course. Others like mitoxantrone, glatiramer acetate, interferon beta 1a and 1b, natalizumab.
Clinical trial drug (3rd phase): Campath 1H (alemtuzumab) caught my attention when i viewed youtube.com. this is a strong drug with some side effects like reduce platelet count and reduce thyroid function.

IF this clinical drug is useful in reverse MS, people having MS now will miss the chance to receive this treatment lo. I understand it is no right in putting clinical trial's drug as 2nd line of treatment when it is still experimenting. Just have this inside words that i need to say. what if it works and people currently cannot received the treatment, will their family members get really upset??

I haven't read their novels. The first time i ever heard of this name was during M107 Selective for forensic science group sketch presentations, which was acted by Hong mun and Abel.
After I went through quickly about sherlock holmes in wikipedia, it raised by interest into reading these novels, though i'm not very interested in detective kind of story. What interest me was the movie, to be honest. haha....

IMU M107

Now, what I'm going to show you is M107. What does M107 means? It means Medicine course first batch in the year 2007.
Initially there were about 213 students. Now it left 165. Exam is the major contributor to the number of students lost. Other factors like stress, offered by other Uni or gone crazy (haha, last one bluffing only)

I'm thinking to get myself a SLR type of camera. Upgrading my current Panasonic Lumix TZ-5 which is an amazing digital camera. However, I need a better quality of photo, so I'm thinking to upgrade it!
I have some options here, suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

1. Nikon D5000- 12.3mp, 2.7" LCD that can be twisted to different angles. LowYat offers me 2880 for the body and the lens. ~ 610g with battery. ISO: 200 till 3200 (reach up to 6400)

Second day of EOS5... every paper is depressing and i have lost all my confidence...
9 systems, CVS, respi, haemato, git, endo, repro, renal, msk, cns... together like a mountain-like papers of notes... And i need to remember...
I am depressed because i tried all the best i can to remember them, but i end up losing them... I'm a loser.

Why am i risking my life here?
I am very unhealthy. I drink coffee like drinking water, it is my breakfast, my dinner and sometime my lunch... there are still time where i dun even eat, because i know once i eat, my blood will pool down my stomach and i will feel sleepy.. i know also that i cannot effort to lose any seconds without study my notes, cause i need to remember them...
I am stress. We are human, i know i can't study every seconds, but i need to. So, when i reached the point where i can't study anymore, i will feel the guilt inside of me...
I am a negative med student.
I am tired. After every paper, i need to force myself to sleep, because i need to calm my mind from the overactivity of adrenaline and seratonin in my mind, i need to continue to prepare myself for the next day exam and i dun have enough time. I am tired.
I have no stimulus.
I am zero.

Why am i choosing this course?
Because i want to give people joy. No pain no disease.

2nd day household survey in Cheras Baru

We, M107, is the first batch to take up this "2 weeks of com med"... we are supposed to divide into a research group, a household survey group and organization chart group. After finish the job above, we need to come out with a presentation and a report that contains all the 3 things.

I joined the household survey group. And Our quota is 200-250. It sounds easy, but when u really ask around, it's hell tired and difficult. On the first day, our so called 'responsible leader made all the spss people bring their laptop. Me, and my fellow friends, carried the laptop, charger and water with us from the clinic to housing area and back to clinic again. All the way is around 10km, from ~9.45 til 12.30pm then rest for lunch and continue again around 2 til 3.30pm. Damn! He then gave a sort of stupid excuses saying that he TOT he going to ask those research ppl to take k for us, wat the damn XXXX! their research ppl also need to do their job, how the hell they can take care of our laptop! damn !!! the first day we got 92 responds from resident in l. ketumpat. First day was damn tired and in great pain. I had a great sharp abd. pain after lunch til ~ 6pm. I couldn't even walk after i reached home. The pain was unbearable and did not go off after i applied ointment and rest. Then, my shoulders were so tight!

2nd day, we reached clinic v early as bus driver did not lost his way. Then, we started our interview early. from one area to another, in total we went through 3 housing areas and 1 mcD restaurant for our lunch (not for filling up forms on our own!!! we r honest studentS!) Around 3pm, we had everthing done! 200 forms done!! hahah ... group work! YEAH !!

Relief after long time of pondering

I've been asking myself for quite sometimes for a valid reason why I made the move to let her pass through 'tunnel'. Those Things that she put on me at first was really unbearable until i screamed for help from friends all over the places. And what i reacted that day when she apologized was as if she had stepped a little over my place.

I finally came out with a valid reason for my reaction.
To apologize sincerely is not something easy to do.
I could feel her sincere when she approached me with that issue again after months.

Forgive somebody is not easy either, if she apologized within that 3 months after she posted the blog, i might not accept her apology that easily. However, i strongly suggest that everyone should forgive or attempt to forgive somebody if he/she is in real sincere to get your forgiveness and willing to change after that. In this world, it is better to have more friends than enemies. If let say this is not the case you are confronting, then what for apologizing?
Try it.

in the Road trip to cameron, my fren bought me a pot of cactus. Small but SOO cute!!! hahaha...
every inch of it has spine (sharp, small and directed in all direction). As if it is telling me that although i am small but dun u dare to come near and piss me off cause you will get hurt in the end. hahahaha.... cool little cactus.

I read through some website about how am i going to take care of it. Some interesting part i found it like: cactus can get sunburn too like human. Enough light, cactus can grows well and flower, but not exposing to burning and bright light. HAHAHA...

Watering. Potted cactus required more water than outdoor cactus but depends on moisture of environment. It needs not to be over watering, just moist will do. And, water needs to be a little lower in pH. Now what you can do is to put an open container of water from tap and leave it for days before watering. Dun use cold water and dun water it from top of plant. Soft, lime-poor rainwater is best.

Remember that healthy, unpampered cacti plants are the least prone to diseases and pests.

I kind of dislike something deep inside myself these days... weird though, it becomes more obvious and uncontrollable when you began to dislike it and realized its existence.

I dislike that I'm becoming more realistic about my surrounding, I becoming very mean to people, I compared with things that I ain't suppose to, I lied, ignored and judged people i disliked every minutes, talking bad about people... What am I doing? What kind of monster is planting inside me? I hate people talking bad about me, so I don't like myself do that to others, but I am doing it. Oh C'mon, please STOP IT right now! The Comparison thing is really making me mad and really crazy for a while...

I tried to stop it, but it has a very strong power over me that I do not really get to inhibit it myself. How am I going to manage it?
I think I need to put myself (the whole of myself) into my studies, forget about everything (clearly remove from my mind) and concentrate on my things!
Please for god sake!!!

What does this mean to me?
It means time is passing very fast and now i'm 20 year old and 25 days. Stepping my feet into semester 5 next year. Unpredictable partner medical school that I will be going.

Refresh back what had happened throughout this year...
Many sharp Peaks and Valleys in emotional graph if i were to draw it... just like the weather nowadays...

Most memorable events:
Foremost: I had this deepest valley in the beginning of this year. One of IMU gal used terribly rude and bad words to describe me. For about a month it affected me. This was not a good feelings, it mixed a lots of feelings in the 30days period. I did not know why and what had happened to her that she would want to put those phrases on me!

Slight increase in the market: when We ~9people joined the IM (infinity millers) for Klang Gate climb. Though I had to wake up at 3am something, i felt really good and refreshing after the climb and i got to know MORE people in this climb. Surprisingly, at first, i anticipated only 4-5 people would followed me to this climb but until I woke up most of my friends in my gang were following also. Haha... I was glad that they followed and enjoyed the journey!

Dropped into another valley: when exam result was out, unsatisfied with the result i got in this terrible month.

rapidly rise peak: ELECTIVE period!!! 10 people in our gang, in 2 cars we went from west to east, stopping at Taman Negara, Cherating, Terengganu and Redang Island. This was the happiest roadtrip i ever joined.

slight down period: IMU cup. I had to face my flawS and training almost everyday.

Another peak: during this december, i have quite a number of peaks period and some down times also. First peak was during PH's b'day, the IMU gal asked for apologize from me. I was shocked after such a long time and she came.

Another peak: PD trip. I joined this trip which organised by another group of friends and without telling one of my buddy. Thus, I was hiding in Sorento here and there throughout the trip to PD. It was fun! LX, SY and SK were 3 very creative people who asked me to hide in the closet before my buddy opened it. This surprised event was the most memorable period for this year. Haha!!! After surprised her, she hitting everyone for not telling her. Haha!!! Then, they secretly put my name on the cake for b'day celebration. OMG, i was real blur... i didn't c my name!!!

Another high peak: DEC 2!!! waken up by housemates at 3 in the morning to played poker and drink beer, eat cake, dance...
Night time, we went OUG plaza eat vietnamese food. And i got a nike shirt from my gang, nike sock from KN and funny monkeys game from my housemates!!!
Two days later, another fren gave me a billabong sling bag!!! OMG!!!haha
Last week, my melaka fren gave me cute 'clinic'!
I received the most sms, wishes and gift i ever did in my life!

Really surprised me!

It indeed surprised me and i must say that i stared at your msn and i don't know what to type and had a mixture of lots of feelings: Happy of cause, now that i finally can let go this sorrow events, Sad, a little, cause its all misunderstandings (so, think and ask before you act), shock, unrealistic (caused it's been a while ago, i really hope that we can talk again, but i nvr expect that u'll apologized to me).

I hate liar and deadly kia-su people.

Z is the person i named and I tried to not to dislike Z but Z is taking for granted and I can't hold on the breathe anymore. Volcano is going to erupt, if residents surrounding did not evacuate immediately they will burn to death.

I wonder why on earth is this person so catty.

It's another version of Z in men among us. Others may not realized Z behaviors but i have enough of it. It's making me really MAD now!
